In honor of the debates ...

I really enjoyed the debates in Mississippi this evening. It didn't take much to confirm what I already thought, and that is that John McCain is, in my opinion, the right choice for America.

I admire his character, his dignity, and his ideals.

COUNTRY FIRST.

Go McCain/Palin!!!
Speaking of debates, I heard that you had a lovely conversation with Memom about our candidates. Yeah, she was over here when she watched it. Fun! Anywho, she also told mom that she was concerned that I gave my kids too much sugar...seriously! Then, mom had to stop for ice cream on the way home from my house. HMMM. Who is the one who is diabetic..excuse me, pre-diabetic?

Yea well ... Memom is silly.
I know a part of Memom just wants to be difficult and different.
But I'm sick (and tired!) of people using the SAME excuse as to why McCain shouldn't be elected:
"he's too old", "Bush screwed this country up" or "he's prolife!"

A) yes, he is old. Old enough to have the EXPERIENCE this country needs in this time of crisis. Thank God he's not young! Thank God he's been around a few decades longer than Obama! As Joe Biden once said, and I have to agree, "this is no time for On-The-Job training."

B) People need to point the finger at the right person. This race isn't about the "last 8 years," it's about the next 4 years. Bush screwed this country up, along with its Democratic congress (cough, cough). McCain isn't Bush ... give the man a chance.

C) Heaven forbid someone put morals above the "popular vote". That decision is, if nothing more, admirable.

Sorry to say, but this country NEEDS regulations. Give the people too many rules and they hate you or complain about equality ... give none and they're over the moon.
Either way, it's never win-win.
